Five Metro Manila Cities to Undergo UNIID-SEA’s Project Design Course on Inclusive Local Development (PDC-ILD)
The six-day course will form an Inclusive Development Project Team that will jointly diagnose, design, plan for, and present a project plan to their mayors and policy makers.

Meet the pioneering batch of the IID Fellows Program. Out of the 104 applications received, 20 Fellows were selected to develop teaching and learning packages featuring innovative and inclusive approaches to pressing social concerns such as livelihood, food security, climate change, water and sanitation, and special education, among others.
UNIID-SEA to pilot training course on “Co-innovation for Inclusive Local Governance” in the Philippines
Since 2012, the program has produced three course offerings for Undergraduates, and an ongoing Master’s course development. Academic units under the Ateneo de Manila University, the University of Malaya, Hoa Sen University, and Chulalongkorn University have been engaged by the program.
The University of Malaya has recently decided to establish UMCARES –the UM Community and Sustainability Centre. UMCARES is dedicated to facilitate and increase the university’s role in community engagement, and in sustainable and inclusive development.
